Stefani and Akon team upThe day has finally come. Gwen announced dates for her upcoming "The Sweet Escape" tour on Tuesday January 23. So, get out your low interest credit card and book any hotel reservations and/or plane tickets that you might need, because this is going to be one hot concert ticket!

The 40-stop tour, in support of her second solo album, kicks off April 22 at the Coors Amphitheatre in San Diego and wraps up on June 23 at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater in Irvine, Calif.

The sweetest surprise of the announcement: the tour will feature performances by hip-hop/R&B singer Akon and British rapper Lady Sovereign.

Tickets for the concerts start going on sale on February 10, so mark your calendars.
